All good things must come to an end - some sooner than later. And I am telling you this because As Within has come to a close, at least for now. It's been a lot of fun, and I have very much enjoyed sharing these pictures and the inspiring quotes to go with them. If you are curious to know why this blog is on hiatus, you can visit this post at shirleytwofeathers. Each person who visited here is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for giving me an audience and (on my worst days) a reason to get out of bed in the morning.

This reminds me of a vision and experience described by Lynn Andrews during her apprenticeship to become a medicine woman. Spending time alone in dark caves enabled her to rediscover her own source of inner light.

Yes, we tend to avoid those dark deep places - and yet often they bring us to the highest and brightest parts of ourselves.

This is so beautiful. I deeply relate to this. My most favorite times are alone in slot canyons (or anywhere in nature) where I find nothing but my creator. I am no longer afraid of being alone because I now know that I am never alone. Thank you for touching my heart. Robin Easton www.nakedineden.com

When I initially commented I clicked the "Notify me when new
comments are added" checkbox and now each time a
comment is added I get
three e-mails with the same comment. Is there any way you can
remove people from that service? Many thanks!

Hey! I know this is somewhat off-topic but I had to ask.

Does building a well-established website such as yours require
a lot of work? I am brand new to blogging but
I do write in my diary on a daily basis. I'd like to start a blog so I can easily share my own experience and thoughts online. Please let me know if you have any recommendations or tips for brand new aspiring blog owners. Appreciate it!
