Within man is the soul of the whole; the wise silence; the universal beauty, to which every part and particle is equally related; the eternal ONE. ~Ralph Waldo Emerson
All good things must come to an end - some sooner than later. And I am telling you this because As Within has come to a close, at least for now. It's been a lot of fun, and I have very much enjoyed sharing these pictures and the inspiring quotes to go with them. If you are curious to know why this blog is on hiatus, you can visit this post at shirleytwofeathers. Each person who visited here is deeply appreciated. Thank you so much for giving me an audience and (on my worst days) a reason to get out of bed in the morning.
Be like a tree in pursuit of your cause. Stand firm, grip hard, thrust upward, bend to the winds of heaven, and learn tranquility.
~Dedication to Richard St Barbe Baker

"Be Like A tree." the title itself already serves as a message. it's surely a beautiful reminder to those whose hearts thirst for a drop of encouragements.
I also liked how you named your blog. Beautiful name :)

ps. I, too, love R.W. Emerson. Though sometimes I've found it's hard for me to understand his poems :)
Thank you.
I do love this quote very much. I wish I could "live" it more often.
I too find Emerson hard to understand sometimes. If I read his poetry out loud it seems easier for me.
Thank you for visiting!
