So do not feel insecure or afraid - we are all held firmly in the infinite mind of the All, and there is naught to hurt us or for us to fear. There is no power outside of the All to affect us. So we may rest calm and secure. There is a world of comfort and security in this realization when once attained. Then "calm and peaceful do we sleep, rocked in the cradle of the deep" - resting safely in the bosom of the Ocena of Infinite Mind with is the All.

Do not chase after what is passed |
Do not chase after what is passed, do not worry over what is yet to come. The past is already thrown away, the future has not arrived. Simply grasp wholeheartedly what is here and now and without wavering, without yielding, look into it directly and realize it. Do today what should be done today, simply and mindfully. Nobody knows if death will come tomorrow and there is no escaping this invincible adversary. Achieve in this instant what must be achieved.

You do not have to be good |
You do not have to be good.
You do not have to walk on your knees
for a hundred miles through the desert repenting.
You only have to let the soft animal of your body
love what it loves.
Tell me about despair, yours, and I will tell you mine.
Meanwhile the world goes on.
Meanwhile the sun and the clear pebbles of the rain
are moving across the landscapes,
over the praries and the deep trees,
the mountains and the rivers.
Meanwhile the wild geese, high in the clean blue air,
are heading home again.
Whoever you are, no matter how lonely,
the world offers itself to your imagination,
calls to you like the wild geese, harsh and exciting -
over and over announcing your place
in the family of things.
